Socal-

Congratulations to Gillian Ascari on being selected to participate in the 2026 MEGA LSC Swim Festival, held August 12–15, 2026, in Mission Viejo, California!

Swimmers were selected based on their performance improvements over the past two years, including improvement across at least three different events and achievement of at least two AAA times.

The MEGA LSC Swim Festival combines a camp, clinic, and competition featuring swimmers from four different LSCs: Southern California Swimming (SCS), Middle Atlantic, North Carolina, and Indiana. The festival gives swimmers an opportunity to train alongside some of the best athletes from other LSCs while learning from former Olympians and Olympic coaches.

The goal is to provide participants with an experience that challenges and inspires them, helps them continue to develop as swimmers, and encourages them to set goals for higher levels of achievement in the future.

A special part of the experience will be attending the Finals sessions of the Pan Pacific Championships Swimming at the William Woollett Jr. Aquatics Center in Irvine. For three nights, the swimmers will have the opportunity to cheer on Team USA while watching some of the world's top swimmers compete at the international level.

Congratulations, Gillian! Swim fast, have fun, and enjoy this incredible experience!
