SOCAL, We had a very successful 2025 Splash-a-Thon! Not only did we exceed our team goal, but we had FOUR Splash-a-Thon records broken! During the olders session, Platinum swimmer Trenton Reimer broke his own 15-16 boys record by a full minute, swimming 5000 yards of freestyle in 53 minutes and 10 seconds! Following in his footsteps, Joshua Bond (Black 1) broke Trenton's 9-10 boys record, going 1 hr 11 minutes and 3 seconds. SOCAL- We're losing one great coach but gaining another, and both coaches grew up with Socal. Black two head coach Brooke Munoz, who swam with Socal for four years and has been coaching with us for the last four, will be continuing her education at Chico State next semester. Her last day will be Friday, and we will miss her, but I have a hunch she will return to us. Brenton Lively will replace her, and he started yesterday.
