Socal- Congratulations to Gillian Ascari on being selected to participate in the 2026 MEGA LSC Swim Festival, held August 12–15, 2026, in Mission Viejo, California! Swimmers were selected based on their performance improvements over the past two years, including improvement across at least three different events and achievement of at least two AAA times. Socal- We had several swimmers finish their season at Futures in Sacramento and Nationals in Irvine. Two girls had outstanding swims. Claire Wilson was fourth in the 200 Backstroke at Futures, got her first National time standard, and is swimming again at Junior Nationals this week. Claire has missed the time standard five times by less than a second this summer, but kept trying and made the cut on her last race at Futures. SOCAL - As you may know, Coach Ben and Coach Pristine will be leaving club coaching and Socal to focus on their swim lesson business. Their last day will be the SCS Club Championships on March 15.
